Over the past couple weeks the Spooner’s Home Improvement Services work crew has been quite busy!
The Kitchen is really coming along!
Dave Spooner of Spooner’s Home Improvement Services is seen below finishing up the drywall; next step mudding and sanding so the rest of the crew can get started on painting.
All the outlets have been wired and installed by the electrician and the Hickory cabinets are going up nicely leaving room for new Stainless Steel Appliances.
First Floor Bathroom:
The first floor bathroom is almost complete, wainscoting, new window and vanity have been installed, the laundry closet framed in and wood trim complete, and the upper half of the walls have been painted a soft wheat color. Next on the list for the bathroom is the chair rail and trim around shower as well as laundry closet door.
Updates from Last week’s Post:
In last week’s post we mentioned the bathroom on the 2nd floor…this week the crew started removing interior debris from the wall to prepare for contractors to begin the dormer.
The attached shed:
Last post we asked for your feedback, ideas and suggestions in regards to whether the attached shed should be converted to a garage or torn down.
The decision has been made and the Shed will be converted to a single bay garage which will leave many options for the new owners to have ample room for storing gardening tools, lawn tractors, or parking for a compact car, with direct access to the mudroom entry for convenience.
If you missed the beginning stages of the Riverside Home Renovations Project take a moment and look back the changes in just 6 weeks have been amazing.
Until next time I welcome your comments, suggestions and feedback.
